I realized I haven’t posted in over two weeks. It’s not that I haven’t thought of anything to write. I have. I just have not had the time to write it down. One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to write a little more. Not sure when I’ll have time to do that. But with anything, when properly motivated you’ll make the time. Enough with my personal life, on to the sports:
Bowl Season – If I beat this horse anymore PETA will be protesting outside of my house. I cannot stand the BCS and the associated bowl system. Just understand that College Football is the only sport anyone cares about that has an exhibition season as it’s post season. I’ll watch the Cotton Bowl because KSU is playing. I’ll watch the BCS Title Game because it’s the last game of the season. However, I will attempt to boycott any company I see that bought advertising during those games.
Chiefs – I’ll probably write more about this later. The Chiefs finished 7-9, and 4th in the AFC West. I picked the Chiefs to go 7-9 on September 6th. Of course, the season did not unfold like I thought….which is why we watch. I have some thoughts on what the team needs to do going forward. But I’ll have to get to that later.
Conference Hoops, Take Me Home – I did two things as a child during the summer. Swim and play baseball. Baseball Season is home. What does this have to do with College Basketball? Conference play has started or will begin this week. I’m not that big a hoops fan. I don’t even aknowledge the NBA’s existance. However, I find College Basketball entertaining once conference play starts. It’s my crutch that gets me through the winter. Once College Basketball season is over it will be Baseball Season and I’ll be home free till November. There are only 49 days until College Baseball starts, which is also the same day full squad practices begin in Spring Training.
